Porto San Giorgio – More than eighty companies at the free webinar organized by Cdo Marche Sud, with the participation of Marco Calabrò, a director from the Ministry of Economic Develop-ment.
The new technological scenarios, with the use of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and funding opportunities related to Industry 4.0, were the main topics discussed during the webinar “Transizio-ne 4.0, Metaverso e le nuove tecnologie”, promoted by the Compagnia delle Opere Marche Sud and the Abruzzo-based Chemical-Pharmaceutical Technological Innovation Hub, Capitank.
The webinar, moderated by journalist Mauro Di Pietro, director of TV SEI network, attracted the interest of more than eighty companies and emphasized the need to seize all the growth opportuni-ties that come through technological upgrades.
At the start of the event, Massimiliano di Paolo, director of CDO Marche Sud, and Ercole Cauti, director of the Capitank Hub, highlighted the commitment of local companies to pay proper atten-tion to this historical shift. They stressed the importance of system competitiveness, which is the result of dialogue between the entrepreneurial fabric, universities, research institutes, and local authorities. They also emphasized the necessity for continuous investments in new digital technolo-gies and ensuring “concrete” training that keeps pace with current and ongoing demands.
Riccardo Rossi from Redorange, based in San Benedetto del Tronto, presented the potential of immersive augmented reality and the metaverse. A series of active solutions were showcased, particularly relevant in the marketing field but already applied in training and educational contexts.
Salvatore Montanarella from Desys spoke about the platform developed by the Tuscan company for the creation of a digital knowledge and business sharing hub. Webinar participants gained a full understanding of the new frontier of remote interaction, thanks to next-generation digital applica-tions.
A particularly interesting intervention came from Maria Paravani of Y2I, active in the pharmaceutical sector, who shared the experience gained by the Marchigian startup in digitalizing skills. Andrea Giaconi, a representative from Jef, was tasked with explaining the various support measu-res for investments related to the adoption of new technologies, which are often underutilized by entrepreneurs who struggle with accessing and managing such resources.
The webinar concluded with a presentation by Marco Calabrò, director at the Ministry of Economic Development (Mise). He provided a detailed analysis of the government’s program, specifically the “Industry 4.0” plan. Marco Calabrò also discussed future investment support programs and the adjustments being considered for the new measures. His intervention was appreciated for the many valuable answers provided to the numerous questions raised by participants.
